Your experience means a lot to the viability and effectiveness of Inki !

Contextual tips

Where we've identified a need, we've provided tips behind the icon in the top left corner.

Contribution to Overall Optimism (COO)

The COO is Inki's version of a reputation score.

It measures your alignment with Inki values and your engagement with the platform, resulting in a member status. This status gives you more or less weight and access to various features.

More will be revealed soon, for now, we are finetuning our mechanic based on real engagement data (100% private).

Game of Life

The quests of the Game of Life are revealing of our ideals for our community, and a way to discover the features of the platform.

Engagement with those is the primary way to build your COO.

For now only a few of the many we have in mind are represented, we're looking forward to unveiling more soon.

Giving feedback to Members

Options

Satisfied

if no hurdle, reasonable value for money, and reasonable service.

Disappointed

if unpleasant experience, eg rudeness, delays, product/service not up to expectation

Do not give feedback if you're on the fence. It doesn't help to have uncertain feedback, it blurs the lines and makes the data less reliable.

Report

if something is definitely wrong - illegal, abusive, or intentionally dishonest. We do not want you or anyone else in trouble.

Recommend

if something is definitely awesome - beautiful soul, hardwork, delightful delivery. Our better world wants to reward this, and you are the agent here !

Anonymity

All feedback is anonymous to the member, for your safety and to support honesty.

This means you will not, and neither will anyyone else, know who gave what feedback. You only know what your satisfaction rate is.

Reputation is updated daily, to help keep it anonymous.

Display

Satisfaction rate is only displayed after a number of votes.

We delay display to the user for anonymity, and to the public because we know the damage a single bad rating can do to a business, and that the first few votes are often from friends and family rather than customers.

A single report however is enough to send a profile through a mitigation process.

Reversibility

You can change your feedback simply by going back to the member's profile.

Ideally, we encourage you to be straight with the member. But if it is unsafe to do so, if you change your mind, or if you have a bad surprise later, please update your feedback.

By the same token, if for any reason you were upset and fedback negatively, only to later realise you had been harsh, you can also reverse your feedback.

Your latest feedback is the one we count (not the average).

Accountability

Our algorithm checks for fairness... If you consistentely rate people negatively when it seems they're doing ok, or if you consistently support people who get reported and blacklisted, your COO will be significantly affected.

Note the word consistently... It is expected that different people have different experiences and everyone can have a bad day.

All in all, if you feedback honestly, we thank you and your COO shall thank you too !
